I went from an iPhone to a Samsung phone and that was a bit tricky, mostly on Apple's end.
Just wondering if anyone has more specific experience/knowledge of this. Some people seem to have had no trouble transferring everything and keeping all their files intact and some lost a bunch of stuff they weren't expecting to lose. I have actually Googled this and found differing opinions. doc? Is there something I should do ahead of time to make sure I could keep as much as possible? Would files like music in iTunes be able to transfer? Photos? Documents that are. I have a bunch of big files stored on an external hard drive. I'm trying to figure out the process of transferring everything from Apple to a different operating system. I have a MacBook, and am considering switching to a Windows or Chrome system - not totally sold on it, but I've used Windows plenty before and know what to do. I'm getting a new laptop soon as mine is just kind of slowly dying at this point.
